Highland Animal Hospital to the rescue! When my 1.5 yr old French Bulldog got stung and developed hives all over her body, you can imagine how upsetting that is. I called Highland and was schedule to see Dr. Scott within 1 hr of the call! Dr Scott was the ultimate knowledgeable professional who treated Stella swiftly and accurately with compassion and care. Dr. Jeffrey Giles is the most caring doctor to our guinea pigs and rabbit. Especially our guinea pigs which had a rocky start. Groot was our runt of the litter and had a tough first year. But with Dr. Giles caring guidance and our love, Groot grew to be a healthy piggy! And his brother, Rocket, had some ailments along the way, but we always felt confident in Dr. Giles care and recommendations. If you have exotic pets, Dr. Giles at Highland Animal Hospital is where to go!! He also makes a great Santa!
I have had cats my whole life and have met many vets. Highland animal hospital is hands down the best vet I have ever been to. Such caring staff and such a warm place. They are so compassionate and are really good at explaining everything and making sure it’s understood. I never have an issue getting in for an appointment when I really need to have my cats seen. I have referred family and friends and they all have such great experiences here. I hope they always stay open!
I am so pleased with the Vet that saw my Bella-Bean. She was very knowledgeable and kind to my baby. She offered many solutions and did a thorough check up of her it was very gentle. I have a guinea pig so she's an exotic and not a lot of veterinarians take exotics so I was very happy to find this place and all of the staff are great as well. Very clean and you can tell that they love the animals. ❤️
Staff is always pleasant, and very professional . Vets are very smart. Although the "old guard" have retired, the new crew is excellent I have been coming here for over 25 years! First dog nearly died, and the vet diagnosed the problem immediately--our pooch lived past 15 years old with health problems. Presently we have a thankfully very healthy new furry friend and continue to get excellent care at Highland. Drs. Scott and Mahoney have been fantastic.
